The problem

Managing outbound for multiple products shouldn't mean juggling four tools.

You run 2–5 products. You don't have time to copy-paste templates, chase replies across inboxes, or pay $265/month for four tools that still don't share context. You need one system that keeps your products separate — and your workflow unified.

4 logins 4 bills No shared product context

The solution

One customer. Every product.

Separate products, ICPs, and campaigns — connected by one shared customer graph and one approval layer.

01

Multi-product orchestration

Each project keeps its own ICP, leads, and campaign context. PortKnot keeps them separate but tied together in one dashboard, so drafts stay specific to that product — not a generic template.

02

AI drafts. You pull the strings.

Outbound email starts as an editable draft. AI drafts from that product's ICP; nothing goes out until you click Approve. You see exactly what will be sent, to whom, and why. No black-box automation.

03

No loose ends. Ever.

Three-step sequences per product, timed to your cadence. You approve each step before it enters the queue. When someone replies, the system stops the remaining sequence and opens the thread in Inbox. AI can draft a response; you edit it and click Send reply.

The multi-product view

One customer. Three products. One clear thread.

The same person can appear in more than one product. PortKnot shows the overlap, which product owns the reply, and which product has gone quiet — without turning your workspace into another CRM.

Quiet

How it works

From zero to sent in minutes.

Build the list, approve each draft, schedule the follow-ups. Every product keeps its own context. Approved steps send on time; a reply stops the rest.

  1. Step 01

Build your list — no data credits.

Import CSV, JSON, or pasted emails — or crawl company URLs. For URLs, PortKnot reads /contact, /about, /team and extracts business emails from page source. Every address is MX-verified.

  2. Step 02

    Draft with AI.

AI drafts each step from the project's ICP, tone, and pain points. Edit every word before it enters the queue.

  3. Step 03

    You approve.

Review every email before it goes out. Approve, edit, or reject. Nothing sends without your click.

  4. Step 04

    Orchestrate follow-ups.

Approved email steps can be sent manually or scheduled. On Pro, LinkedIn steps become manual tasks. A reply stops the remaining sequence and opens the thread in Inbox.

Fit check

Built narrow. On purpose.

PortKnot is a tool for a specific kind of founder. Here's the honest version.

It's for you if

Sweet spot: 2–5 products

  • You run 2–5 B2B products (SaaS, physical goods, or productized services).
  • You do your own sales and outreach.
  • You want AI speed but human control.
  • You're paying $265/month for four disconnected tools and still can't tell which product a reply belongs to.

It's not for you if

No hard feelings

  • You need agency workspaces and white-label client reporting.
  • You want a fully autonomous AI that sends without review.
  • You need a 10-person SDR org with enterprise controls.

The difference

How PortKnot differs from Instantly and Apollo.

Most tools are built for one brand sending at volume. PortKnot is built for operators sending across many brands with intent.

The math behind $12 and $39

Most tools charge you twice.

Once for the software. Again for the data. PortKnot crawls and verifies the emails you actually need — so you're not buying a database you'll never finish.

Apollo Basic Credit-based database ~$20–26
Smartlead Verified prospect add-on ~$29–30
Instantly Credit-based database ~$31–60
PortKnot Crawl any URL + MX verify ~$3* our crawl cost · included

*PortKnot's ~$3 is our internal crawl-cost target per 1,000 pages, not a customer fee or a measured per-email price. One page can yield zero or several emails. Competitor figures are their published data rates, excluding base subscriptions and sending. (What is MX? We check the domain's Mail Exchange records to ensure the email address can actually receive mail, preventing bounces before they happen.)

Comparison basis. The $265 stack is held at its entry price so the difference is visible. At 10k and 50k sends, the lowest-cost path is Solo ($12) + Resend Pro ($20/mo, covers up to 50k). Pro is $39 and includes 10k managed sends plus unlimited projects and 3 seats; it is a feature upgrade, not the cheapest sending-only comparison. Vendor limits and your actual stack will vary.

The bottom line

We're not cheaper because we cut corners. We're cheaper because we don't sell you a database you don't need.

Method & assumptions

Published self-serve list prices on 24 Oct 2026, before tax. Estimates, not quotes.

Apollo Basic $49/mo annual or $65 monthly, 30,000 email credits/yr; the comparison uses the $65 monthly rate. Smartlead verified add-on $59/mo for 2,000. Instantly data credits $9/150 to $47/1,500. Resend free up to 3,000 emails/mo; Pro $20/mo for 50,000.

PortKnot's ~$3 is an internal crawl-cost target per 1,000 pages, not a customer fee or a measured per-email price. Vendor limits and your actual stack will vary.

Built from the trenches: one founder, a few products, and a refusal to let a warm lead go cold.

Solo founder · 2–5 products

From the founder

I built PortKnot because I needed it myself.

Like many of you, I'm a solo founder running multiple products at once. And like many of you, I learned the hard way that the path from 0 to 100 paying customers is one of the loneliest, most brutal stretches of any founder's journey. There's no playbook. No team to lean on. No one to catch you when a follow-up slips through and a warm lead goes cold.

I didn't set out to build a SaaS. I built an internal tool for myself — one that let me run outbound for each product without losing my mind, without spamming people, and without letting a single reply get buried. It worked. I used it every day. And after a while, a few founders asked if they could use it too.

That's when PortKnot became a company.

Here's what I believe, deep in my bones:

Founders back founders.

I know what it feels like to be on month three of outbound with no replies, wondering if the whole thing is broken. I know what it feels like to spend $50 on a tool you can't afford, hoping it's the one that finally works. I know what it feels like to be told "you just need to be more consistent" by someone who's never had to be.

So I built PortKnot to be the tool I wished existed when I was starting out — one that respects your budget, protects your reputation, and does the boring work of keeping every loose end tied.

My belief is simple:

When you succeed, PortKnot succeeds. Not the other way around.

That's why the pricing is what it is. That's why there's a real 7-day free trial. That's why I'm not chasing enterprise contracts or VC-scale growth. I'm building for the founder who's still in the trenches — the one who's doing this alone, the one who needs a win.

If you're there right now, I see you. And PortKnot was built for you.

No demos. No contracts. No black-box AI.

No. Every email starts as an AI draft and waits for your approval. You can send an approved email manually or schedule it. Automatic follow-ups only run for steps you approved, and a reply stops the remaining schedule.
